Not sure what style you'd call this. It started off being inspired by posters from 60s and 70s but now it looks a bit African. Hmmm. I may take the first idea further later on. Like the colour combination though.

The 100 days project
In November 2009 comedian Josie Long put out a challenge as part of the London Word Festival - to do one thing every day for one hundred days with the aim of becoming a better person at the end of it. You can find out more here. Haikus, press-ups, kissing and more.. the projects were as varied as the people who took part. This blog is my contribution - my aim was to be a better artist after 100 days.
I love Victoria Moore's columns about drinks and drinking, this video seemed particularly apt

My aim is to take a simple object that is essential in my daily life and use it as the basis of a daily drawing. I chose my coffee pot and each day I will create a piece of art in as many different styles as I can, that incorporates my cafetiere. Hopefully this will encourage me to experiment and be a better artist at the end of it.
