If you like coffee as much as I do and you're looking for something fun to do in May this year, why not visit the UK's first ever coffee festival, held in Bath on 15th/16th May.
Whenever I find myself in an arty shop I always want to buy those little fancy bits of paper for scrap-booking. I've never done any scrap-booking and don't really intend to but I just can't resist those little bits of paper. So at least I've got some use out of them now!
In November 2009 comedian Josie Long put out a challenge as part of the London Word Festival - to do one thing every day for one hundred days with the aim of becoming a better person at the end of it. You can find out more here. Haikus, press-ups, kissing and more.. the projects were as varied as the people who took part. This blog is my contribution - my aim was to be a better artist after 100 days.
This blog is my contribution to the 'One Hundred Days to Make Me a Better Person' project instigated by Josie Long: http://www.hundreddays.net/ My aim is to take a simple object that is essential in my daily life and use it as the basis of a daily drawing. I chose my coffee pot and each day I will create a piece of art in as many different styles as I can, that incorporates my cafetiere. Hopefully this will encourage me to experiment and be a better artist at the end of it.
What is the perfect thing to have with a cup of coffee?
Where would you most like to be drinking a cup of coffee
